Availability Practitioner Program

$1,500.00

This is for practitioners willing to take an emerging instrument into real conversations with real clients —and to let what happens there shape the developmental possibilities for clients, as well as what the Availability Snapshot becomes.

This is not a certification. The Availability Snapshot has not yet completed discriminant-validity testing or an independent ethics review. To certify practitioners at this stage would ask the instrument to make a claim it cannot yet support.

What I can offer instead is Founding Practitioner status, your first year’s licence, and a genuine hand in the instrument’s development.

What it involves

Learn the instrument, the theory behind it, and practice the debrief method.
This is 20 hours of live training with demonstrations, practice and feedback, delivered as three 4-hour sessions within one week. There will also be approximately four hours of pre-work. It matters: the live sessions will be built on the assumption that you have taken the Availability Snapshot.

Personal experience.
Your own Availability Snapshot report and individual debrief

Practitioner materials.
The Practitioner Guide, debrief protocol, Return Tracker and client preparation resources

Application - take the Snapshot into the field.
Use the Snapshot with at least two real clients. We will meet for two 2-hour case clinics, with a dedicated channel for questions, observations, and support between sessions.

First-year access.
Practitioner resources and permission to use the method within clearly stated terms.

Completion
Clear attendance and practice requirements; accurately named completion recognition.

Tuition

  • The fee is US$1,500, which includes your own debrief, the training, and first-year practitioner access.

  • Early Bird = US$1,250.

  • Payment plans are available.

Program Outcomes:

  • Understand the framework: explain availability, participation and return clearly, including the Snapshot’s purpose and limits

  • Conduct the debrief: guide the Doorway Practice, preserve client’s choice (developmental sovereignty), and help someone develop a workable experiment to support their return

  • Develop as a practitioner: notice your own closure, urgency, interpretations and capacity to return while working with someone else

Dates

  • Program runs January 11, 2027 to

  • Applications close December 31, 2026.

  • Live Training Sessions: January 11-13 · Each day @ 11am EST | 8am PST | 5pm CET

  • Practitioner Lab #1: February 11 · 11am–1:00pm EST | 8am-10:00am PST | 5pm-7:00pm CET

  • Practitioner Lab #2: March 11 · 11am–1:00pm EST | 8am-10:00am PST | 5pm-7:00pm CET

Your place is confirmed once payment is received.
