Explore your own availability to participate more fully in life.

The Snapshot shows you a pattern. It cannot tell you what the pattern is for — what it protected, what it cost you, or where movement is actually available right now. That takes a conversation.

The Availability Inquiry is a 60-minute session with dr. akasha to work through your results against your own experience. You leave with one context that matters, two practices, and a 30-day experiment. Bring your report.

Who this is for

People who already know their participation patterns, want to keep growing, and don’t have a supportive space to practice. That is the usual case. You have read your Snapshot report, or you have simply lived long enough to know where you close — and the problem is not insight. It is that nothing in your ordinary week asks you to practice, and nobody in it will tell you the truth about what they saw.

Anyone in a position where closing is both the efficient move and the expensive one. Leaders carrying decisions. Clinicians and teachers. Coaches and facilitators. Parents. People in a marriage or a friendship where the same gap keeps opening.

If you develop other people for a living — coach, facilitator, therapist, manager — you are welcome here as a participant, not as a practitioner. Bring your own material, not your clients' of staff’s.

You do not need to have taken the Availability Snapshot. It gives you a place to start, and most people arrive with one, but the work is done on what happens in the room.

This is not a course and there is no curriculum to complete. It is not therapy and not a substitute for it.

How it works

Reading about availability will not change your availability. That is not how this capacity works. It comes from noticing something as it happens, in company, and getting honest feedback on what you noticed.

Each month we take one thing — a domain, a pattern, a specific kind of closure — and work it. I open with the concept, briefly, because we need somewhere to stand. Then we practice. Then we sit with what happened.

What you cannot get alone

Two things happen here that cannot happen when you are by yourself.

The first is that you are seen mid-practice, not after. Most of us edit our own account of what happened before anyone hears it. In this lab, someone sees you close in real time and can say so kindly.

The second is the company. There is a particular relief in discovering that other capable people also lose their footing, also close, also take longer to come back than they would like. That relief is not a side effect. It is part of what makes the return faster next time. Good company is one condition for building our capacity.

Come with something real. That is the only preparation.

Sessions are not recorded.

Practicalities

$125 a month, or $1,250 a year — ten months for twelve.

This is the founding rate. It is held for as long as your membership runs unbroken, including at annual renewal. Later members will pay more.

Labs are capped at 24. The cap exists so that the facilitator can reach every group during the practice hour — a working limit, not a scarcity device.

Opens Thursday, January 14, 2027, then the second Thursday of every month from then.

7:00–8:30pm Eastern · 4:00pm Pacific · 8:00pm Atlantic and Grenada (7:00pm for the October session, before the US clock change)

Who this is for

People who have completed the Availability Snapshot self-assessment.

Forty-five minutes with dr. akasha, on what your Availability Snapshot found and what it makes possible.

Your report can show you a pattern. It cannot tell you what the pattern is for — what it protected, what it cost you, or what it would take to move. That part needs a conversation.

We start with your report.
The Snapshot is a proposal, not a verdict. I'm interested in where it landed, where it was wrong, and what it missed entirely. You're the authority on your own experience; the instrument is a way of getting at it, not a replacement for it.

We find where this actually lives.
Availability is never general. It happens in a particular room, with particular people, under conditions you did not choose and often cannot change. So we get specific: the relationship, the meeting, the decision where staying open is genuinely costly. We look at what in your circumstances is making it expensive — because "be more open" is useless advice if the conditions are the problem.

We design a practice you'd actually do.
Not homework I assign. Something small, specific, testable, and yours — with a way of telling whether it worked.

What I'm after is not a more open you. It's a freer one: more able to tell chosen closure from compelled closure, and more able to act on what does get in. That's the whole point of availability — it's what makes participation possible. I am an instigator of freedom, and this is where that work starts for most people.

What this is not
One conversation, not a programme. Not therapy, and not a substitute for it. I won't hand you a diagnosis, a stage, or a plan for your life. If ongoing work makes sense, we'll say so at the end — but that isn't what you're buying here.
